This is a small sampling of comments the Bambini management team has heard from families touring our new Granville Bambini centre.
We’ve poured our hearts into developing this brand new facility from the ground-up. Every window, door, fixture, and furnishing was chosen to amplify the fact that this space was created for children to dream, play, and explore.
While the thoughtful planning and beautiful aesthetics of the centre are prominent, there are other qualities that set Bambini apart from other early learning and childcare programs.
First of all, Bambini is 100% Reggio-inspired. We view children through a holistic lens and our program revolves around nurturing the child’s whole being.
Our aim is to develop confident, self-motivated, and resourceful lifelong learners. We nurture the emotional intelligence of the children in our care so that they have the ability and resilience to respond positively to any challenges they may face in life.
We also assert that children are an essential part of society, therefore we ensure children get opportunities to explore and be active contributors to the community.
Moreover, our mission is to bring childhood back. We want children to experience childhood to the fullest with opportunities for meaningful play and discovery. Our program is a safe haven where children are protected from the busyness of life and the pressure to perform.
Too often, we’ve heard and seen the side effects of children growing up too quickly. This is particularly evident in North America. Here at Bambini, we treasure childhood and provide ample opportunities for children to bask in the innocence, beauty, and simplicity of childhood.
In addition, the holistic nature of the program fosters children’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being to achieve a well-balanced lifestyle. Bambini equips children through practices such as yoga, mindfulness, healthy eating, and nature exploration.
Children who have positive experiences such as these in their formative years are more likely to develop into confident, socially involved, and mentally healthy adults. Furthermore, the heart of our program resides in the relationships we have with our families.
We know that a child’s guardians are the most important individuals in their life. Bambini supports families in their critical child-rearing roles by providing individual support, informative workshops, and special social events.
